I've had a grill my whole adult life and don't think I've spent a combined $550 on grills...

Buy it and not look back. Weber makes the best grills.

I grill a lot, and by a lot I mean 3 nights a week 50 weeks a year. I used to buy the $150-200 grills at Lowes and they would last me about 1-2 years before they were completely burned out.

I finally decided to spend $600 and buy a Weber 5 years ago, and it still looks great. I don't take as good of care of it as i really should, but it's been awesome.

Grills are one area where you get what you pay for.

If you grill a lot, it's probably a good investment. I grill maybe twice a month, not that much.

I grill the same amount, don't take care of my $200 one at all. I've had it for over 4 years know and haven't replaced anything but the actual grill part. No burner replacing or anything. It's a pro series brinkman I got from Walmart in December 2009.

Are you kidding? Buy and big Green Egg for that kind of money. Geese a gas grill is just and gas grill, nothin special about any of them.

Big green eggs are overpriced. It's freaking ceramic. Webers hold the heat better than the lower end grills. The materials are better and won't rust.

Disclaimer: I have a BGE and weber genesis. I had sub 200 grills all during college. They were OK but harder to keep temp.

Parents bought both weber and BGE for house warming present. I was looking at Brinkman and dyna flame? Prior to knowing they were getting them.

After having all and if I had to spend my money, I would get cheap gas grill, weber kettle and weber smokey mountain for the price of the weber or BGE.

I have always used regular charcoal grills, and hated on the gas grills.

Well my roommate got a decent gas grill for Christmas 2 years ago, and I haven't bought a bag of charcoal since.

I have a Weber and it is a great grill. Gets hot as can be, like 700, rarely flares up, and only then when you have something really fatty on it and quit paying any attention at all.

I have a charcoal grill but it's a pain in the arse to light the coals just to grill for two people mostly. I had a cheap $200 grill, but it broke before my move to Lake Charles. If I buy another one I want it to last.

My weber is almost 20 years old. Burners and burner covers have been replaced one time. I think it was about hundred bucks. I grill a lot and pretty good about cleaning grill and pan. The cover ALWAYS goes back on as soon as grill is cool enough.

We geaux through a grill every two years at our house too. as far as propane, we've always gotten about what we invested. Only exception being bigarse black iron smoker. Just gotta watch the rust, but you're talking stainless steel weber which will burn up faster than you think if you don't pay the penny for a good one.

i grill 3-4 times a week, but i like charcoal. my old man uses propane back in houston.
