Anyone have any inside info on this? Is it going to be badass? Lead to good fishing/kayaking? It's entry is going to be at Lamar Dixon?

It's a new proposal going up with the massive sports complex renovation.

Dunno, but this guy and his buddies are clearing all kinds of waterways in Baton Rouge. When they're done, you should be able to paddle all over BR.

You can a yak in the lake behind Lamar Dixon now. They stocked with rainbow trout for whatever reason.
Badass? Doubt it.

I don't think Manchac kayak trail will be anywhere near Lamar Dixon.

Where do you think it'll be?

In Bayou Manchac. Alligator Bayou to Amite River.

You can kayak it now, but there is trash and debris in it. It always will IMO. Manchac drains a lot of Ascension and a ton of water goes through it.
