The Gary Sinise Foundation.

Watching his story on the ABC Countdown to The Oscars. He is remarkable. Wow!

Lt. Dan is a very active advocate for our wounded warriors and puts in the time to fund raise and initiate special events for disabled vets everywhere. His work is inspirational.

Well I thought that was common knowledge. I figured there was more that most people didn't know that would be posted in this thread.

Fwiw...he is a true patriot.

I remember when FG came out my mom and sister seriously thought he didnt actually have legs. They said "they never really showed his legs before"

Among other good deeds, Sinise went into war zones to jam with his band for soldiers. Dude walks the walk. I met him once at the 4th Capital Concert and he was every bit as cool as I'd hoped-and put up patiently with every other person calling him Lt. Dan.

Professionally, you could tell way back when he played Stu in The Stand that he was a significant talent.

For me, at least, I don't know that he ever surpassed that performance. Though Captain - oops Lt. - Dan was equal to it I think.

Plus he is one of the few Hollywood people to be on my side if the fence of most political issues.

My political agenda falls in line with Ron Swanson

Great guy. He does Capital Concerts every year, so I've worked for him. A lot of celebs/politicians disingenuously work the philanthropy circuit ("cause-based marketing"), but he's the real deal.

My brother and i think he would be the perfect actor to play Ronnie Van Zandt in a Skynard biopic.

Sign him up! Now that he's grown his legs back, he can hit the stage barefoot.

Very talented actor and does a lot of good work for charity. But he's clearly an a-hole if you've spent any time around him.

I think you might have gotten him on a bad day. I've shadowed him when he was MC and he's always seemed nice to me. He gets "all business" sometimes, but that's because he's a pro.

Aretha Franklin, on the other hand. . .

Over 3 months of bad days is a trend. I will admit SOME it has to do with his politics and how he expresses it, but just not the type of guy I enjoy being around. Fine actor and adequate musician though.
