We're kind of slow at work so me and one my guys decided to bedliner Red Rubi. Wife says "stop fricking up your car". I say I'm making it better.

Gets shot tomorrow then put back together Thursday. I'm pretty pumped about it.

Got it shot today and just finished putting it back together. I must say it looks fricking great!

To answer some questions below: all exposed wire was loomed and taped. I didn't remove the sound deadener. I took a bondo buster to it in one spot but was afraid I'd remove metal so I just sprayed it extra thick around it to try and float it. Once all the trim, seats and floor mats were back in you really can't tell a difference except in the trunk area.

I'll get some photos once it's cleaned back up, it's got a lot of dusty footprints from us putting it back together.

Anyone know if they make an aftermarket cover for the trunk pocket that's smooth plastic? That's the only piece if carpet remaining.

Well, share some pics once you shoot it. BTW - Rhino or Line-X?

We shoot reflex. It's rubbery like rhino but more UV resistant.

Not sure anything could be less UV resistant than Rhino. 2 years in and I'm ready to bring it back for them to try again. Peeling and flaking off really easily.

Are you putting it over the sound deadening material?

You might want to consider this. Taking the carpet out does make a pretty big difference in noise, and also with insulation. But, those things may have been amplified for me considering my jeeps were old CJ's.

I was refering to JK specifically and the ugly epoxy they place in various spots on the floor pan.

Oh, yeah, I see I misread your post, and then quoted it anyway. I'll go back and change it to say what I thought it said.

is your jeep lifted?

If not, what size tires do you have on there? ours is stock for the moment, but want to add some mud tires, thinking close to 33's would be fine, maybe a 32

It's a factory lift that comes on the rubicon. I think it's only like a 1/2 inch. I'm not lifting it until I wear the tires a little more and can figure out how to hide an $8k expenditure from the wife. Sometime this year though.
