Final Thoughts
Housekeeping: Saints released CB Jabari Greer, S Roman Harper, DE/OLB Will Smith & have announced they will not re-sign Jonathan Vilma.
All in all, 2013 was a year with great expectations. Any time a team makes the playoffs, that season was a success in its own right and should never be taken for granted. Rob Ryan made the New Orleans defense competitive again, and Sean Payton brought his own flair back to the offense. At the end of the day, coaching is what keeps a team alive, and the Saints now have what they hope will be a long and prolific duo on the sidelines. This offseason seems like an uphill battle, but come next season the Saints will be back. And despite a disappointing finish, history was made in 2013, and they'll look to make it again next year. Seeing a season end is hard, and it's easy to let those bittersweet tears cloud your vision as a fan, but come opening day next year none of that matters any more, and that's why there's no season like football season anyways. Who Dat.

Well that was well written. Only missed on the center position.

This time, the Saints offense was more effective, gaining 409 yards, but an early Mark Ingram was the real tone setter for the game. Despite high yardage totals, New Orleans just couldn't score. In the 4th quarter, New Orleans found themselves in some sort of bizarro world in which, down 23-8, they scored with 32 seconds left. They then recovered the ensuing onside kick and hope was restored.

However, on the final drive with about 9 seconds left, Marques Colston caught a pass on the sideline that was designed to be lateraled across the field to a streaking Tavaris Cadet. Not only was the lateral not completed, it was thrown forward, and thus the Saints season ended on a sad note, despite the last drive holding so much hope for the Who Dat Nation.

DJ may have pegged our pick pre-combine.
Kony is going to be really fun to yell when I'm drunk.

I thought his reply would lead to a lifelong friendship, not a ban request.
Boy did I misread you two.
Boy did I misread you two.
