There is a petition going around the UK that basically says they don't want him back. The petition is a feel good measure that can't stop him from going back to the UK but I found it funny that someone took the time to start it.
He is a limey little prick from what I've seen of him on TV. He may be alright IRL but I doubt it.

One of the many reasons I like Jeremy

He hasn't been fired, they are just ending his show. CNN still has him under contract til like October and I read they are planning to still use him to do interviews, just not in a regular show format.
Killing off his show is still a good start though.
