My blood pressure just raised thinking about the possibility of never eating meat again. What a terrifying thought.

It is, but being healthy and having good blood pressure is so vital IMO.

Makes sense. If I was a vegetarian and still had high BP, I'd be pissed.

Oh, it doesn't surprise me that vegetarians have lower bp. That's what happens when you adopt the beta lifestyle.

Eh, it does to a certain extent. A balanced and healthier diet is the way to properly maintain a healthy blood pressure.

Meat in the amount we eat it (Americans) is complete overkill and gluttony.

Meat and animal products should not be our staple. Vegetarian diets do not work though if you are just pounding cheese, butter, and guacamole all the time.

For all the alcoholic, meat eating, cigarette smokers left in the world...

Fah-cue, and leave us 'sloan.

We like having a BP that makes our cardiologist cringe.

While that's definitely true, guacamole doesn't belong in that group.

True. Guacamole is better than cheese but like all things that are delicious we eat too much of it.

No need to go vegetarian, just emphasize vegetable and accompany them with lean meat.
