I noticed you mentioned fishing around the bridge in the other post. I have a close cousin thats a great stick that stayed all weekend at our camp right across the bridge. I will get a report from him today for you.

Thanks..we should have been fishing there already but my buddy suddenly fell in love with catching redfish.

If anyone is there when we are fishing I'll text them whatever we are getting bites on..

Thanks again..

I was wanting to go this past weekend, but I had to build a fence. I looked at the weather and it is supposed to freeze again this coming Wednesday night. I don't know if that will slow it down this coming weekend, but from what I've been hearing they were starting to move up.

If you fish by the bridge, go deep into those creeks just south of it on the Tx side. Buy a shad rap if you don't have one. That and weightless trick/finesse.

In the grass, these small swim baits by Reaction Innovations are killer.

If you're bass fishing, I can tell you a lot of places not to go. Everybody I know is killing them down there, but Patroon ate my lunch on Saturday.

Any of the green based ones like Watermelon Candy, Watermelon Blue etc.

Houdini. I have several swim baits in that color and it seems to work very well.

Nice.

Cadello, talked to my cousin and he didn't do too well. His brother caught 25 at IC yesterday though.

Wore this spot out on Washingtons Bday, not even a sniff. Even hit the flats north of there and nothing. Shallow pockets with lots of grass was the trick for us, all on flukes worked very quick.

Fished toledo the past two weekends. We fished housen, six mile and pirates cove...Throw a rattle trap in red/crawfish color and swim flukes in watermelon red with a weighted hook. Most of our big fish did come on a rattle trap including one 8 1/2 weekend before last. Find grass in 5-10 feet of water Good luck
