Overall, the thing that impressed me most about Beckham in these drills was that he’s very comfortable with his speed. Not only is he track and field-fast, he also glides through routes and catches the ball with confidence.

Starting to look like he has the chance to go as the top receiver in the draft. It will come down to what type of role teams see him vs. Watkins fulfilling. I still think more teams would favor Watkins for his size/athleticism.

He's got a chance to be the third WR drafted.

And a lot of other WRs have improved their stock as well.

OBJ, at best, is the 4th WR taken. Watkins, Evans, and Benjamin all go ahead of him. People on here say well we shut down Evans and all that stuff. And we did. But 6'5 220lbs and runs in the low 4.5s is rare and will go early on.

Then you have Brandin Cooks and Matthews who had great days as well. And Marquise Lee didnt hurt himself either.

Show us where OBJ touched you or your woman? Two threads straight bashing positive reports on him.

They all have question marks, but you are probably right. A team willing to take a wr high in the draft is going to be looking for size/athleticism combo. Depending on the team Evans ends up on, he may line up at TE as often as X or Y receiver. Watkins is electric and is probably viewed as the most dynamic receiver because he has size on Odell. Benjamin is soft, but again, he's a huge receiver coming off a big season. If you are the saints who do you take 1st out of these guys? Jets? Patriots? Lions? I think most teams have a different guy #1 based on their style of offense of course. Not every team is going to have these guys in the same order. It's a stretch to say Beckham will be the 1st wr, but with the league changing to a better passing league with quick reliable receivers to fulfill several roles, he could be viewed as an immediate impact guy that can help add athleticism in multiple formations. There's a reason the Seahawks were so excited to have Harvin back….Beckham is the closest thing in this receiver group.

Every team has Sammy Watkins as the top WR on their board.

Maybe not but they're all gonna have the same guy on top.

Watkins is by far the closest thing to Harvin. He slaughtered the field in YAC this season. No one was even remotely close. If anything the only knock on him is that all did was just take the ball on bubble screens all season long.

Beckham is an awesome WR, but he's not Sammy Watkins.

I think he has a great chance to go in the first round from his showing today, but hes isn't getting drafted ahead of Watkins. Evans and him I think is a toss up depending on what a team is looking for, they are very different receivers. However Evans fits the current fad in the NFL of big possession receivers rather than burners.

Odell Beckham, WR, LSU: The LSU star has rarely been mentioned as a top prospect, but he should get plenty of burn after posting impressive times in the 40 (4.43), 20-yard shuttle (3.94) and 60-yard shuttle (10.93). This confirms the explosiveness displayed by Beckham on tape, solidifying his status as one of the most dynamic offensive weapons in the draft. Additionally, Beckham caught the ball well and was more polished as a route runner than I expected. With Beckham also regarded as one of the top returners in college football, it's quite possible he enters the discussion as a Day 1 selection.

I would agree with Watkins probably being #1 on most boards. Looking at his overall game, I'm not sure he's the best all around, but he's the most electric and dangerous. He will have a Julio jones esque impact. Watkins gives you that big play threat all the time.

Doesn't make you a GM to quote what every single analyst has said for months.

He still has a chance to be 1. Combines aren't the only thing to be considered.

You peoplle probably aren't aware of OBJ's pedigree. But his father was a LSU football player and his mother ran track at LSU. In fact she gave birth while anchoring the 440 relay and still finished 2nd in The NCAA track meet that year.

Lol, these combine reports are saying he's probably solidified his spot in the first round, and LSU fans take that as saying he might be the first WR drafted.

Every scout who's written an article on this draft says Watkins is inarguably the top WR on the board.

This isn't to denigrade OBJ. Like I said, he's an awesome WR and I'd love for him to possibly fall to the Saints. However, not a single person will write about him being the possible top WR drafted.

Exactly. He won't be the top WR taken but obviously tiger fans love the kid. Admitting he won't be the top WR taken isn't bashing him but it's realistic.

Im not bashing him at all... Great player.

He has a chance to be a late 1st rounder.

But hes not the #1 WR in this draft.
