Morning folks.
Those FBDers that have made the journey to Santa Rosa to visit Russian River and stayed nearby, what hotel did you use, how was it, or what other might you recommend?

I'm all about finding local spots more than chains. Loved this one-staff couldn't have been any nicer.

If you can, go to Lagunitas as well. It is not that far away.

We ate a little restaurant/bar deal in headlesburg, but can't remember the name. It was good, I was pissed b/c we were leaving for San Fran in the morning and Jimmy Vaughn was playing there the next night.

There are plenty of options. Hotel LaRose is nearby and has a B&B feel to it. We just stayed at the Best Western at 1500 Santa Rosa Ave. it's 1 mile from RR.

Are you looking to be stumbling/cab distance from RR?

Absolutely. I'm not sure how far my wife can carry me after I pass out at the brewery
