No In-Game or reaction threads for a great basketball game (Duke-UNC), but five mother frickers racing to be the first one to start a damn thread about whether or not some college kids should storm the court after beating a Top 5 team in the country. Smdh.

Edit:(/sarcasm)

I'd say the Brian Stow tragedy is more of an example than this, personally

It is stupid but that's what you get with this board, the stupidity on here outweighs the good. You will get some good back and forth on here with some threads, and then you have stuff like that.

It's a win against your rival who is in the top 5 and is a win that gives them 8 straight in conference after starting 1-4. I've seen fans rush the court for lamer results. It's a part of college sports, no one is making you watch it

Alright I'll be honest, my post was not meant to be taken seriously. I snuck the #yolo in shortly after because I couldn't bare the thought of someone believing that I really meant what I posted.

On a serious note, the I can't believe they really just stormed the xcourt, act like you have been there before argument has grown a little tiresome over the last few years. You have to remember these are college kids, and while I'm sure there are a solid few with the act like you have been there before mentality, all it takes is a few of the nerds sitting in the front row to do it and the rest will follow.

College basketball blue bloods don't storm the court. You won't see Kentucky or Kansas fans storm the court.

I have no problem with 99% of teams storming the court.

No offense to my buddy rockchlk up there but Kansas and Kentucky fans are like a cult, and you can add Duke onto that list, although I remember them rushing the court before

I watched the whole game. When I'm watching games like this, I don't post during them.

i dont disagree. i posted in another thread that i dont mind when people rush the court, but that im pretty sure id be pissed if kansas did it.

it's fun as shite, i get why people do it. it's also fun to have the holier than thou attitude, though, and act like you'd never stoop to that level. i think it gives a program a nice little cocky douchiness. then again, if you're never a home underdog, then you never really have a reason to rush the court

I can't imagine the shite show this place would be if LSU "upset" Alabama and stormed the field in football. The mixture of emotions may crash the site.

Golfer, no sweat man, I was trying to make light of the situation. I was genuinely surprised there was no in game thread, I rarely post in them but usually read them during breaks in the action.

You best believe I was one of the first on the court on this one:

I would have set one up if it wasn't for the OKC/Miami game thread I was running.

I saw a lot of guys on twitter asking why Duke still had starters in late on Tuesday with the game in hand and the two games coming up, I wonder how much that contributed to Dukes struggles late in the game. They were outscored 31-14 in the last 13:50

You have to remember this is the same North Carolina team that has wins @Michigan State, Louisville (neutral), and at home against Kentucky.

I have no faith in this Duke team winning anything meaningful unless they get their defense in order. Their offense is off the charts, but that D is atrocious.

That layup near the end by Paine should have been blocked by two different defenders easily but they just stood there basically
