Heading to Larto Fiday for Squirrels and Sac-A-Lait

I have my new 10/22 to shoot and my son still hasn't shot the 20 gauge he got for Christmas. Anyone else have similar plans?

Im going fishing, but I doubt I see many squirrels in Cocodrie.

Catch a sac a lait on a squirrel hair jig if you want to "hit for the cycle".

if he is fishing larto, he is likely hunting Saline WMA (Dewey Wills WMA for the younger crowd)....

Not a bad idea. I might break out the old Marlin 60 and let my daughter try to pop a squirrel for the first time.
