Just how many are we gonna take? We got some good ones this year and already have 2 committed....

I would think we would take Lewis and Peters of the guys that aren't committed yet and call it a year if they choose the good guys, but we can't exactly turn down a Tavarus McFadden or Iman Marshall either.

Depth is never a problem to have, but we can't just run Mustang every down against Bama

Jamal peters isn't leaving the state of miss.

We are getting tarvarus, Xavier and Tolliver. Maybe 1 more but that's it

Not saying I disagree, but crazier things have happened in recruiting.

Haha here we go again Reda...

We most likely wont get Jamal Peters in the end, but were right there with Ole Miss right now. Weve got a shot. Hes already been to campus, and at 1 point said we lead for him.

While its unlikely we get him, we have a shot at him. We are pretty much the only school that he will go to if he doesnt go to Ole Miss... And its not like Les and co have never switched a big time player OOS.

And hes closer to BR than he is to Oxford.

My current thinking is 4-5 total. At least 3 cbs and Henry and maybe 1 more S. Depends on numbers at other spots most likely. From what I've seen stated

QB-1
RB-3
WR-4-5
OL-5-7
DL-4-5

That's 17-21 right there with TE, LB, DB and a LS left. If the low end then I think we are good everywhere but high end means DB and LB numbers are tight. Also have to think we likely don't fill all 27 this cycle. 16 is the year to backcount

RB - 2
WR - 3
TE - 2
OL - 6
ATH/APB/FB - 3
DL - 3
LB - 2
CB - 3
S - 1
LS - 1

Agreed with lsufanva. I think we grab two more CBs to go with Toliver and maybe one more safety to pair with Henry. For CB, I'm thinking it will come from Lewis, T. McFadden, Fields, Fitzpatrick, etc. Other instate candidates might include Raymond, Capers-Smith and Eugene. Maybe Christian Campbell as the second safety.

This. I work with a lady who is related to J. Peters, attends all of Bassfields games and speaks to me regularly about him. Although 'no guarantees' (504 Soulja... Had to go there) LSU has a good shot at him. From what she said, his parents would like for him to explore other schools outside of Miss. In addition, JP's grandmother went out of her way to get him to LSU for his visit. Now I know it may not sound like much, but you have to consider that at one time toward the end of last year he seriously considered giving us his commitment.
