Thinking of getting one for traveling to get in cardio when other options aren't available. I can't remember the last time I saw someone using one.

not sure why I don't, because it is a damn good form of exercise....

gotta be sure to request 1st floor hotel rooms if you plan to do that, though...

I was just reading up on some facts. Apparently you burn approximately 200 calories every 10 minutes. That's pretty good. Makes me wonder why they aren't used more.

True. I work in Africa though and our treadmill is broken more than it works at our company apartment. I'm trying to come up with a good substitute. For some reason this was the first thought that popped into my head when I woke up today.

For cardio and exercise, not so much for leisure.

I do. Not as regularly as I'd like but it's great exercise.

They're used pretty often at my gym, but just for warm up or for cardio between sets.

In my youth I decided to learn how to jump rope the way boxers do. Harder than it looks! Finally got to where I could perform a few of the moves but Ali I am not. As young people tend to do, I grew bored with it and moved on to something else.

Back in the days of PE at school we had to jump rope almost everyday. Lots of people were pretty flash jumpers.
