Preferred walk on per DD. What's the scoop on him. Not familiar with him.

Reid is a good walk-on. He was voted team MVP the same team that has the lsu sophomore dline commit Alexander. He visited north Texas and Stephen f Austin. He will work his tail off for lsu his impact may never be seen on the field by the average fan but he will do his job on scout team and push the vets. He will also be one of the strongest freshman on the team. If he was 6-3 6-5 he would have had some serious offers. His height is his downfall.

Weight room warrior. State powerlifting champion the last two years. Played across from 2016 DT commit Ed Alexander every day at practice this season. Was the most effective person blocking him both for STA and all of the opponents. Great kid that may never be a starter but will not be outworked in the weightroom or on the field.

I would like to see this kid play. He is as strong enough to throw a small car and has a lot of heart. Moving him is almost impossible.

He is listed as a walk on DT but says he like OL better. He is too slow to be effective pulling but he had pancake after pancake on his highlight reels.

Any chance for next year?

Kind of kid you want around the program

Hopefully he'll earn a Scholls down the road, as well.

He's my cousin

Cool to see him talked about here. Didn't realize how strong he was and that he was looking to play beyond high school until earlier this year.

He's a hell of a lot bigger since the last time I saw him

Not the quickest by any means, but he was putting kids on the ground on the regular. I'm glad he is on board, at worse a great practice player that will make people on the team better.

Yep, but he may make a good center or deep snapper.

Yeah because deep snappers don't have to be quick?
