re: Most fundamental thing this team does wrong that irks you? - ponchytiger
Total lack of a zone offense other than pass the ball around the perimeter until there are less than 10 seconds on the shot clock then force a terrible shot. Find a good Junior High Coach and go observe some weakside cuts through the lane and some player rotation. ...

Texas is also in the mix for Alexander. He isn't a big fan of Alabama and it is highly unlikely he ends up there....

Ed Alexander - ponchytiger
Nicky a St. Thomas Aquinas in Hammond today visiting 2016 DT Ed Alexander. Decommited from the Tigers a while back. Seems like Bama is making a push. One of the in-state kids we really need to get....

re: Josh Gray could easily be 3rd string PG - ponchytiger
I agree totally. Frustrating to watch at times but flashes of brilliance are there. Personally I think coming off the bench and getting into the flow of the game would benefit him tremendously. Has been a turnover machine at times and right now isn't providing the positives to outweigh the negati...

re: SEC Conference Realignment... - ponchytiger
The divisions are fine the way they are. West teams need to stop coming up with this bull shite to get away from Bama
Of course coming from a fan of the team in the East this is the best possible solution. Getting rid of Alabama is not the point, balancing the divisions geograph...

How about using true geographically aligned Divisions West TAM Arky Missou LSU Ole Miss Miss St Vandy East Alabama Auburn Georgia Florida Tenessee Kentucky S.Carolina Close as I could come up with keeping most the big rivalries within the division. ...

re: Brick at St. Thomas Aquinas/Pope John Paul game Friday - ponchytiger
Why the negativity on this kid. Christian is a beast. I hope they sign both. Dantzler will need a couple years in the weightroom but he will be able to contribute. Christian could compete quicker because of his body size. Both are the best athletes on the field at every game they play. BT...

re: Brick at St. Thomas Aquinas/Pope John Paul game Friday - ponchytiger
Versus 6-0 Northlake Christian Dantzler accounted for 375 yards of offense – 210 rushing, 165 passing – and scored three touchdowns and passed for two more. In the first half, he had 194 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 1, 5 and 71 yards, and he passed for 131 yards and a touchdown....
This was vs PJP who is 1-4
While this is true he also had over 150 yards rushing vs. 3A playoff team Loranger before exiting early in he 3rd quarter with an injury. Kid is the real deal and will perform well on any stage, big or small....

Brick at St. Thomas Aquinas/Pope John Paul game Friday - ponchytiger
Was there watching 2016 DT Edwin Alexander. Got a great look at St Thomas 2016 Athlete Cam Dantzler also. Dantzler was by far the best player on the field Friday and showed it at a good time. He's a little light now but he's a great hitter and the Kid can run and jump out the gym. Played WR last ...

re: What was with Diarse getting called for Illegal receiver downfield? - ponchytiger
I Didn't see the actual play but I'm guessing he was lined up on the line of scrimmage in the slot and was supposed to be off the line. He would have been covered by the outside receiver thus making him ineligible. ...

re: Rebs will be ranked higher than LSU by week 5 - ponchytiger
I just don't see the relevance here or why it's worth arguing. Sure Ole Miss will beat some SEC top tier programs sometimes. Until they do something relevant like win a National Championship or even an SEC Championship in the modern era, they are still a second tier SEC program. I will take a...

Maybe so but will always be second tier nationally and never win a national championship. Yep every now and then they will beat a top tier SEC team but that's their ceiling. ...
