Just wondering if I'm the only one.

I make it a point to show my wife all the time how much I love and appreciate her. I don't feel the need to do anything special on some designated commercialized day.

I only give her a single rose with a handwritten note which expresses how much I love her.

Me. I never give a gift and rarely give a card. I don't give in to a corporate America faux holiday.

Our anniversary is the 23rd. We don't usually do anything for Valentines day.

Valentine's Day is for single people. Once you are married, your anniversary replaces that. Besides, it's a manufactured holiday and total BS anyway. Women would much rather you send them flowers on some random day when they are the only ones getting them than on some day every skank in the office has flowers.

Nailed it; VD is for guys who rarely, if ever treat their wife. When you take care of your wife all year long, it's not a big deal to her. I am going to cook for mine at home, and you are correct about the note, works every time.

My wife and I go to lunch.

She hates Valentine's Day, and I love her for that.

a lot of V-Day hate in here.

"Corporate America Made up holiday" take a shower you smelly hippy.

My lady likes V-Day and i like my lady. Why should i turn down an opportunity to eat some good food that i don't have to cook?
