I'm asking everywhere I hang out on the internet. I'm looking for a copy of Tom Petty's "Wildflowers" and I can't find it anywhere. Anybody out there have a copy they'd part with, per chance?

Yes. Don't have that one though. My favorite album I have is Hendrix and Otis Redding Live at the Monterrey Pop Festival.

I have a lot of vinyl that was gifted to me. Every Beatles, rolling stones and Zepplin for sure. I have off stuff too, but I sold most of them at a garage sale for $1 a piece, so I only have the 'good' stuff. I'll check for Petty though.

I collect vinyl, would probably have bought your whole collection if in good shape. Last time I counted many years ago, I had over 3500 albums. Need to get my collection valued one day.

How much you willing to pay me to part with what Rolling Stone called the 12th best album of the 90s?

Collecting vinyl is the way to make being drug to old antique and junk stores worth it.

Nothing better than being drug to one of these stores and seeing a big giant stack of crates full of vinyl for 50 cents to three dollars each. She'll be ready to leave before you're done flipping through them.

Check out this concept of reading a thread and it's replies before you contribute.

It depends. if you listen to smaller artists that still do analog recordings (Ryan Adams "Ashes and Fire" comes to mind) it's great. If the original recording was done on pro tools there's probably no point. The actual vinyl itself is much higher quality today. Heavyweight, 180 gram stuff.

Yes it is. Somebody pointed me to an auction on UK Ebay. It's a german pressing and I'm not sure what the quality is like but it's better than nothing. Guess I'll bid.
