My criteria:
-comedy with dramatic parts or vise versa
-Plot advances through episodes

Any suggestions?

Edited to broaden criteria.

I have heard some great things about Chuck, that may be next for me. Any other TV shows that are good?

misfits is the only "comedy" i can think of. but sherlock borders both pretty well. the brits i guess do it better in that genre.

its tough to have comedies with drama mixed in. its usually easier to pick dramas with comedy mixed in.

2 episodes into Chuck and I'm digging it big time.

Still idk if it what I am looking for. I'm trying to look for a show my girlfriend and I can get into together without having to watch gossip girls. Like a dude version of Dawson's Creek. Lol sorry if I just lost man points from the rest of the board

Yeah, I was thinking Misfits would work well. Sherlock fits somewhat. I would add in Fringe as well.

Justified would probably work as well depending on the OPs sense of humor and how much drama/comedy balance he wants.

But Misfits is the only show I would consider mainly a comedy that has strong drama elements.
