ball is inbounded from under the goal and goes all the way past the half court line where the UGA player steps back with both feet behind the line and no call

am I missing something?

He caught the ball in the backcourt, so it was legal.

When in bounding the ball, the entire floor is open. No backcourt on an inbounds. Now if he caught it in the front court, and stepped back...

He caught it with his foot in the back court then stepped in the front court, that's legal

Doesn't the ball have to go into the front court and then back over for it to be a backcourt violation?

I think he caught in the air and landed with one foot in the backcourt. I think they actually got that call right.

I think in order for him to be considered in the front court he has to establish himself in the front court and then cross the timeline. AKA two feet and the ball in the front court. He caught it on the border so it didn't matter.
