Actually has some gameplay updates instead of just repurposing 14.

How is the gameplay on 14 with the new momentum engine or whatever? I've only talked to one person about it who just started playing it mind you and said defending was even harder because of it.

I will most likely buy this as I would just love going through the whole qualifying cycle and then playing in the WC.

Works out to almost 37 per nation. But I'm sure the player pools for the smaller countries are pretty limited.

Can't wait to purposely sail Zusi's header over the crossbar.

Are these the "real, licensed" ones like the last WC game, or the shite they pulled for the Euros?

I would like to think that because it's not some haphazardly put together DLC content that everything will be licensed like 2010 (which was one of my favorite games ever), but EA has let me down before.

I'm hoping to relive Dempsey missing the PK in Columbus to keep it Dos a Cero.

There was so much potential there. He may have missed it on purpose, but he could have made a way bigger show of it.

203 nations, 7,469 players, 19 officially licensed managers.

So to me that says they haven't licensed the players. If there are no licensed players, I won't go anywhere near that PoS

Man, I haven't played FIFA in months. Lost interest really quick this year.

EA has a deal with FIFA. I guarantee you that all of the players are licensed.

I don't know. Even if they just went off the player database from 14, that's a ton of players.

They can't use the player database if they don't have the lisences (see the euro game they put out 2 years ago).

I would assume, since they're making this separate game, they'll have the lisences.

I don't think it's FIFA, I think it's the individual federations. I remember playing the last one and they didn't have any of the Dutch players' names. It was pretty lame. If that's the case I'm gonna pass.

Btw, how does everyone feel about FIFA14? I haven't heard good things, but I really liked the last WC game so I'm tempted.

I'm playing it a lot more than I did 13.

Just like every year, it just takes time getting used to it. The biggest difference I've noticed is that the players can't turn on a dime like they could in previous versions. So, you have to watch how often you use turbo when defending, because if you pursue too far, you won't be able to recover.

They broke manager mode.

Gameplay is good once you get used to it, minus some of the terrible leftovers from 13 and fast players don't exist.
