Hit up one of Paulas places for a good dose of cholesterol to push your heart over the edge into infarction status.

I like the Olde Pink House and the Chart House for nicer places. Churchill's has some good pub food. Go down the hill and get snockered at Kevin Barry's also.

Toucan in midtown

Local 11 Ten-Weird name, good food. Pricey.

King and I-Thai (also in midtown)

Tubby's Tankhouse downtown-not great food, but you can sit outside and it's right on the river.

Rocks on the Roof-bar with tapas on top of the Bohemian Hotel. Great view.

Jazz'd-Good tapas and live jazz

Bonna Bella Yacht Club-food is meh, but good place to grab a drink overlooking the marsh.

Leopold's-great ice cream joint

Green Truck-burgers

Bella-Italian

Moon River Brewing-decent food. Beer is all made there. Nice beer garden.

Vics on the River-haven't been but hear good things-pricey

Crystal Beer Parlor-Savannah staple since the 20's.

Tortuga's-good breakfast in Thunderbolt

Tybee Island Social Club-good food Live music on Friday and Saturday nights

Bayou Cafe for late night blues.

Savannah Smiles for dueling pianos.

Going on a very similar trip in April. Have you ever tried The Distillery or Circa 1875?

The crab shack has pretty good seafood for the "east coast" they cook it differently from us. A lot of steamed stuff but its fresh and good.

I haven't been to either but I hear good things about both. The Distillery has a good beer selection. It's on my list.

I'll be down there later in the month. If I can't crawl back up that hill from Kevin Barry's I may call. Tia TIA.

Wife and I went several years ago. Best thing we did was take a haunted bar tour. This guy took us to about 10 different historic bars all around savannah. It was a walking tour. He walked backwards the whole te and gave history and ghost stories. Wife had a few too many and had to shut it down early.

Sure thing. I might even meet you down there if you are interested. I am back and forth, so I may or may not be here then.
