If it's speeding then yes. Do the 894 thing. That applies to the St Tammany side. The Jeff Parish side actually is a little more flexible in allowing the whole "get charged with a non moving violation" deal.

It's not that hard to put the cruise control on 65 and drive in a straight line for 24 miles. Plus, speeding is dumb because there always seems to be at least 1 or 2 Causeway police hanging out in the crossovers every time I take it.

I don't speed on the Causeway, in Kenner, St. John parish or Acension.

I learned. Thousands of dollars and years it took me to learn though.

I've been crossing the thing daily for 4 years..was following a speed up slow down driver this morning and was not really paying attention. He snuck up behind me and got me at 77mph along with the pain in the arse driver in front of me. My court date is in covington

To be fair, during evening rush hour, it's not quite as easy as setting the cruise to 65 and taking a nap for 24 miles.

The right line goes less than sixty and the left lane goes 70+ so you do have to be on your toes a bit.

I guess I was due one...I have probably gone 70 or above more times than I have gone 65 or below!
