This will be the first Super Bowl that I'm not going to any kind of party. Just me, a glass of scotch, and my SO watching the game. I feel a little bit like a loser but I think it might be kind of nice

I wasn't planning on it but my Uverse receiver went out and they can't replace it until tomorrow. So, I got tickets to a charity event where the game will be televised.

I'm going to Ruth Chris with a bunch of friends to celebrate an engagement so I probably won't catch much of the game at all.

Hate watching games with people, especially those casual fans. I hate listening to people talk football who know nothing. It's why I watch games with my wife and she's usually doing something on her phone or Mac book.

I would advise anyone who actually wants to watch the game to avoid Super Bowl parties. In my experience, droves of cackling females ruin the experience.

Just me, the wife and the two rug rats.

And a 6lb boston butt that's been smoking for 5 hours already.

Of all nights to have an engagement party. Are your friends getting married on Christmas?

I try not to go to parties in general. I also work 60+ hours a week so I'd rather use my free time to hang out with my wife and son. Also nothing like a bunch of casual football fans saying I just watch it for the commercials! " and talking about a bunch of random bullshite to really get me in the mood for watching football. Yep get off my lawn.
