First cast on the first bass trip this year. I though it was a beautiful pic. I know, no foot, oh well!

It's got a purity mouth. Pretty water, beauty of a sky, but the piss puddle on the boat there is frightening.

My assessment, found sunken brushpiles with trolling motor, dropped and anchor on a black rope, pulled motor up, then caught one on first cast in 15 foot of water with a jig, Carolina, or slow rolled spinnerbait.

Spring Bayou, baby brush hog (watermelon red / Texas rig, 7' to 8' water. Slow retrieval. Oh.....that's not a piss spot, it's water from the trolling motor, and I was not anchored.
Sequence of events: Caught the fish, the only one. Pulling trolling motor up, hence the wet spot on the bow. Took the picture by myself, which is hard to do. Released the fish, went home.
