I know it is hard to say anything definitive because neither have completed there careers here. But based off of what you have seen and minimal projections where would you place both in terms of the best guards and big in LSU history?

Both are top 15-10 at their positions.

Best? No chance, but they are good.

Not to deminish anything they've done, but neither should be in the conversation unless they stay their senior year and make a final 4 run. They still would have to put up great numbers along the way.

At times, Hickey has looked like the best point guard we've had. I wish he weren't such a streaky player. When he's on, it's a thing of beauty.

If Hickey was a 6 footer he would go to the NBA.

Some around here may laugh, but Anthony Hickey is one of my all-time favorite college basketball players to watch. He doesn't commit very many turnovers, and he's a blur out on the court. His dribbling is a thing of beauty. Instinctive defender as well. I'm not sure where he falls in LSU history yet, but he's a great guard to see play in person.

JoB3 will go down in the same past player group as Ronald Dupree.

Hickey.. tough to tell. He may still have another year.

I disagree a bit. Ronald's sophomore year, he went for 17.3 ppg and 8.8 rpg (1st and 2nd in SEC) his Sophomore year. Good for second team all-SEC (horsecrap).

Yea the nba is full of PGs that shoot 38% from the field and 45% from the FT line

I am not saying I think they are the best, but definitely think they are "some the best"

Hickey's best contributions are his passing/distributing the ball and his intensity. His numbers aren't great. In fact they are mediocre at best. But it's the intangibles that he brings that makes us a better team with him on the floor. The drop off is very noticible when he is on the bench

Yes. JOB is one of best to come through. He's a game changer. Not top 10 best. But can be included in the discussion of good ones. Hickey? I like what he's done but it shows how long it's been since we've had a truly great "true" point guard. A decent one like him is viewed as awesome cause we just haven't had a good one in so long.

Kid is playin nothin like last season, man. And his midget height is a handicap, but the kid can play say what you want. He jacks people makes them look foolish. Ridiculous speed and quickness that he doesn't use enough. Decent 3 shooter and can handle the ball. Yeah, if he was 6'2 or 6'3 you damn right he'd be in the NBA.

Hmmmmm, neither are really as good as some other players we've had here that didn't make it to the next level.

I mean shite, I'd compare Hickey favorable to Darrel Mitchell. Great player, but didn't have whatever it is that people look for.

As for JOB3, I don't know. He plays flakey as frick sometimes.
