I felt the same way during the season, but it is weird to see the reactions between the two men.
Jimmy has always had nothing but praise for Brees. I think Jimmy will be designated as a TE as well, but in a time when Graham is trying to ink his own deal, why is Drew getting involved?

This could very well be in response to Brees, but I hate when an athlete posts something on Social Media and everyone assumes it's related to their career. These guys have lives outside of football. I do wish, however, that Brees stays out of the discussion, especially 2 years removed from his own contract battle.

I dont see a problem with what Drew said, Jimmy IS a TE. They say so on Fox every game during introductions.

The truthful and correct answer is Tight End. If Graham wants receiver money for the franchise tag, that's his business, but don't expect Drew to bend the truth or flat out lie when he's asked a simple question.

Exactly. If he was saying Jimmy shouldn't have a problem with the franchise tag then he's out of bounds but this is nothing.

True, but it is a loaded question. Obviously, Jimmy is a TE from all previous position assessments. Why would anyone need to ask what position he is? What does it state on his All Pro selection this year?

Listen to any athlete speak and they always mention two lines that should never be crossed: You don't mess with a teammate's girl, and you don't discuss another guy's money. Even if in Brees' mind, Graham's contract never came up when he was asked that question, he's gotta know better. He's smarter than that. All of his teammates had his back when he wanted his payday, he needs to do the same. Even if its as simple as a "no comment."
I think this is especially true in Graham's case fwiw. NOBODY rides Drew's dick harder than Graham...so to speak. Dude never misses an opportunity to tell the world how in love he is with Brees and how he's the best QB in the league.
