Is Girls the worst/most overhyped show ever?

I can't think of another show that was so terrible yet so well known.
I remember when the Sopranos took off, I hadn't watched it but kept hearing about it. Decided to try it out, and ended up getting hooked.
Same type of hype machine behind Girls, but the show is unwatchable. I'd rather watch a weekly cartoon of Herbert the pedofile from Family Guy than that garbage.
I understand I'm not the target audience, but come on. Can any of you remember a show this terrible that lasted as long as this one?

I actually watch the show with my wife, but I just take it for what it is. It's super awkward, but there are definitely worse shows on tv. (most 30 minute network tv shows)

This season has been an absolute dumpster fire and I defended the show last season.
