The NBA hasn't fallen. This is an issue of the networks pushing shitty teams because they're in a big market.

No the NBA has fallen ... nothing like the late 80's and 90's. Really not even close.

A very nice game by Melo... but ESPN has been acting like its something better than anyone has done.. BTW it was against the Bobcats... Bottom line is HOW desperate are ABC and ESPN to get ratings??? Showing two real crappy teams on a Sunday afternoon... The NBA is a BIG FAIL overall IMO........

What does that mean? The overall quality of play is higher now.

At least were not getting playoff games shown in delayed rebroadcast at 11pm.

Roll your eyes all you want.

No real rivalries. Every players soft as egg shells. Flopping like a bunch of pansies ever fricking night. No more defense or great shooters. Just guys who chuck it 50 times a night and the fans think they are great because they scored 35. GTFO and go buy a clue.

Turn this game on and tell me that again....... This is HORRIBLE... These are supposed to be the best there is and the game is real BAD... I could take 10 guys off a NY playground and beat either of these teams and it would look good doing it.

No its not. This is street ball, if you consider that higher play then I dont know what to tell you.

The Spurs and Pacers now are the only two teams that play real basketball. 20 years ago half the league played like them.

Again its not even close.

PJ is quoting your posts as truth. That should tell you how wrong you are.

The quality sucks. The good teams can be fun to watch, don't get me wrong.

Prior to the season, you can pretty much assume the champ will be from a group consisting of OKC, SA, Miami, Indiana...and maybe another team thrown in.

What's worse, is that there are a ton of teams that have absolutely no shot. I'd say half the league is just garbage on a routine basis.

The other sports have parity. Baseball, a sport with no salary cap almost always has a team make a run that is a surprise. Football has surprise champs and diversity in the league.

Basketball is bland in that regard. The same teams are force fed to us fans. The same players are gossip for free agency. The ego players are the same every year. These players always go to the coast.

Never has a league been driven by individual players' marketing and egos than this league.

I love the game, but damn. I feel sorry for fans in Milwaukee, Minnesota, Cleveland, Sacramento. Then you have the group of Atlanta, Washington, Toronto, Orlando, Detroit, Utah, and some others that seem to have some good qualities and resources, but will not really have a significant chance to ever break through barring a huge hit in the draft.

/ rant
