Ed reed only had a one year deal with jets would you be upset he comes to saints for cheap one year deal and we let Harper and Malcom walk. Draft a safety in the draft or keep Rafael bush and let ed reed mentor Kenny and bush. Plus he is from New Orleans.

Ed Reed said retiring is a possibility, but he'd like to play another year, especially with the Jets.

Funny, he seems ages older than Ryan Clark but is only a year older. Ed does seem quite a bit more banged up. Clark coming home seems more likely than Reed. Destrehan vs. Shaw.

Yea but I would take anyone of those two then Malcom and Harper. But I could see reed going home for awhile and deciding to stay to play one year

No..I dont think I would even take a chance on Polumalu at this point. Injuries and age have caught up to them. I could see Ryan Clark on a 1-2 year deal, but at a low price. With Greer and P-Rob coming back I like the corners we have, safety and D-Line is the key to a defensive up tick. Ryan Clark could be an option, but I don't see it happening.

Ed Reed on crutches > Roman Harper completely healthy
I'd rather find & develop through the draft but I'll take anything to see Harper off the roster. He's a good guy and will always be a Saint but he's the weak link on this defense.
