Has anyone checked out this spot? It's by The Store on Gravier. Is it worth going down there and giving it a whirl or should I be ever so faithful to the always cheerful and buoyant Stein's deli?

I really like Reuben's, but it's not in the same league as Stein's sandwich-wise. The soups are always good - try the duck gumbo.

It's owned by the same guys that own The Store. It's decent for a quick lunch spot .. but don't go out of your way to eat there and dick around with parking and all that. Stein's is much better still.

This. It's basically passable if your walking there from somewhere in the immediate vicinity.

Near my office, so I tried it the other day. It was pretty packed around 12:30. I had the pastrami on rye and it was good, but not great. I'll probably go again because it's so close to me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

like Harry said, the duck gumbo is pretty decent. good shrimp salad too.
