Earlier I was on Instagram and I recently followed breeland speaks and on one of his photos Trey commented with a bunch of purple and gold symbols and tigers, trying to recruit speaks, also he's posted tons of pics of lsu and has been talking to lsu recruits and Ed Paris has been recruiting him a lot. Some probably think it's creepy but just trying to bring positive news to the board because it's been pretty shitty lately LINK /

Yeah if you go to the breakfast with Les thread I said that "big guy" is Lealaimatafao and he LOVED his visit. Thought LSU has a great chance now. The only thing is he's like our 4th option now. Valentine/Speaks/one other were ahead of him.

Plus his Vine has a video of his little sister in an LSU shirt. Pretty much LSU > Oregon. Oh and his cousin is Semione Augustus

You CANNOT get a good crawfish omelet in Oregon. Sealed the deal.

(Unless they trot out some cheerleaders like they had two yrs ago when we played 'em...OMG, they made our girls look like junior-high geeks!)

Good post.

At least you weren't on here saying you had an inside source that he was a lock, blah, blah, blah. Information is good and we can all take it for what it is. It's the supposed insiders with all the made up info that turns so many off.

I'd love to have the kid at LSU. He looks like he plays with passion and he's quick for his size.

I really like this kid. Glad he decommitted from Texas. He's underrated, IMO.

Not to derail, but man, Seimone Augustus was a hell of good player. The talent that LSU women's basketball used to pull in was phenomenal.

Back to Trey, I hope he does sign with us. His size makes me think of Glen Dorsey.

Wouldn't bet on that just yet. 2 reasons, Closeness to home and Oregon is about as wacky a recruiting staff as there is. The board at Oregon is never truly known and they take kids over others that puzzle some. They are truly a system staff and choose fit over talent more than any school in the country. Hell they were adamant about taking the Brandon James kid over Joe Mixon all year because James fits better. Then they didn't get James. Different set of recruiting guidelines at Oregon. Never know who the priorities are there

I have been wanting to get more size on the interior of our defense for a while. With this years crop of LB's we look to be getting bigger in there and with the addition of possibly Davenport we get a run stuffer in the middle and Lealaimatafa is no small guy either. Devon G. is big kid. I like the size. It's not just always about speed.
