No both of mine are synthetic stock, a super light in .270 and the boar hunter in .338 win mag. Got the .270 dialed in to a 3/4" group at 200 yards, the 338 is currently getting a muzzle break put on it, I have not shot it yet but just bough all the components for some bad arse loads

Winchester 70 super grade

Beautiful rifle, well made. Should have 100-200.00 left over.

I have the Sako A7 long range in 25-06. Absolutely love it. 1200-1300 at cabelas.

I had a tikka t3 lite in 7 mag. Ok gun, but kicked like a mule. Too lite in my opinion for that caliber.

I recently purchased the T3 Hunter in 7mm mag and love it. Recoil is not bad at all. Recently folded a big stag using 150 grain Federal Sierra King. I am two for two now with it. Not a single complaint from me.

Buy a Model 700 and put a $1000 scope on it.

Depending on your budget, I would get a Sako and put a Swarovski Z-3 or Z-5 on it. If you don't want to spend that much then look at a winchester model 70 extreme weather, and put a meopta or zeiss conquest on it

My scope is worth a lot more than my gun, I'd go cheaper on the gun and put more into the optics.

Will most likely be my next rifle. That caliber for sure, down to the final two on the brand.

I've had a remington 700 .270 for about 8 years now. Zero complaints. Didn't even spend $600 including the scope.

Rem 700 BDL. + Leupold VX-III 3.5 x 10 x 50 = approx. $1200.00. Will last you a lifetime.

Remington 700 or Savage 110, add a Boyds wood stock, and spend the $1000 on Swarovski or Zeiss glass. Overkill accuracy and glass for hunting.
