Oh truck gods of the OT I beg for your help.

Looking to get this truck here:

LINK

But I suck at knowing if a used vehicle is a good deal or not. I got him down to $20500.00 plus an oil change, alignment, and wheel rotation before I drive out the door with it.

You can get a brand new, 4X4 F150 for close to 28k...I'd say it's a shitty deal unless they come down to 17k

KBB is showing a value in good condition of $20,220. The invoice price on the window sticker while brand new was $38,265 and alot of dealerships run $11k off brand new XLT F150s. So right there you would be around $27k for a brand new, and possibly even lower with negotiating. So you are only getting $6,500 off with having 61k miles on it and no factory waranty.

I think buying used is smart with alot of vehicles, but new F150s is not 1 of them. Too many incentives/rebates to purchase a used vehicle at book value. Now if you can get them down to $17k like stated above then that is a different story...

No way you can get a new F150CC F150 4x4 for 28K. You can get a 2WD or a Regular cab 4X4. Mac Haik in Houston which has the best prices in the Country has the 2013 XLT CC 4X4 for 31K. If you know of a place let me know because I would buy in a heartbeat.

As other s have mentioned I would think you could get a new 2013 in the 26k range, at least one very similar to what you are looking at. I'd go in that direction if you can swing the additional money.

Fail that is close to 30K and that truck is bare bones. It has the 300A package.

New 2013 XLT

Since your looking in Houston. Here is a new 2013 similar to the 2012 your looking at to compare.

I would pass on it. I have looked at F150's the past week far and wide and there are much better deals out there on trucks with much less mileage.
