He made a clarification. We're getting cash considerations.

So we gave up a future pick for another run of the mill PG and cash CONSIDERATIONS.

The team is supposed to be tanking, not the organization.

Another? We don't have a true PG on the roster

I think this is, in part, do to Jrue probably being done for the year

Taylor hasn't gotten to play for Brooklyn, but from what I remember, he's been pretty good in summer league play.

He was a 2nd round pick. We just gave up a 2nd round pick for him. With the cash we got, we could just buy another 2nd rounder if that would make people feel better.

We basically gave up nothing for him. This is a pretty meaningless move all the way around

Also confirming Tyshawn/cash to New Orleans for a future pick. Source says luxury tax motivated and opens up a roster spot. #Nets

Separate deal on Tyshawn Taylor & cash to New Orleans from Brooklyn likely nets Nets heavily protected 2nd rounder but saves luxury tax $.
"Heavily protected 2nd rounder"

Nets just dumping a guy to save money

Well, Pierre Jackson isn't happy. He also tweeted "WOW..... the disrespect." but that has since been deleted.

we can't really question the front office but pierre is supposed to be tearing up the d-league and his reps are lobbying to get him on an nba roster. taylor averages 10mins and 3 points this year. no experience in that.

by the way, i visualize pierre to the nba the same as jameer nelson and lilliards transition.

It's getting harder and harder to understand what this organization is up to. It resembles a fire drill in a Chinese whore house.

Maybe they figure if they fill the roster with PGs and corner the market, they'll be the only place to go if another team needs one...that's the only thing that makes sense.

I think they saw this as a free player acquisition. Maybe even a net positive depending on how much cash the Crazy Russian gave us.

KU players typically don't do well for us.

But, was it really necessary to bring in another PG?
