Paid voluntary survey on sherwood. Just made $65

Wtf did i just do? Got paid $65 for anonymous breatalyzer saliva and blood test and survey. They have 4 sherrif cars. Thought it was a checkpoint at first. Resaerch company is pacific institute for research and evaluation

It's a NHTSA study about how often people drive under the influence. I was just reading an article where some guy is suing a town because the "voluntary" checkpoint used cops to force the guy to pull over, making it seem like an official police stop. LINK

So let me get this straight, we have some wacko breaking into people's homes and sexually assaulting women(4 in the last week). The sherrifs dept instead uses their manpower to pull people over to take a survey. That is seriously messed up.

Exactly and I'm sure lanes were blocked off so that you couldn't just drive by without being stopped.
