then are there people who think they are really, say, a dog trapped in a human's body? It is equally as nonsensical as thinking you are a woman trapped in a man's body or vice versa. Just curious because I have never heard of such a phenomenon.

does it make an impact on your day-to-day life if someone identifies stronger with another gender than their biological one?

If a person wants to be a dog then let that person be a dog.

Not only did you think this in your own mind, but you typed it out for anyone to see.

Bravo.

Thinking you are something you are not used to be a character defect (at best) or a sign of insanity (at worst). Now it's a protected class.

If someone wants me to accept it as perfectly normal, then yes.

I just don't understand why it matters. Who really gives a shite if someone whats to wear a dress or pants or whatever the hell they wanna do?

Some of y'all are too sensitive when it comes to what others want to do with their own lives.

It's the fact that they are becoming a protected class that pisses me off, giving them the ability to sue even when their weirdness has nothing to do with the situation.

In any case, I was being genuine in my original post. Are there people out there that think they are other animals trapped in human bodies?

I see it more like a sign of a deconstructed society that doesn't care about truth or objectivity.

Just because you feel like you're a girl trapped inside a boy's body (what does that even mean? gender is biological and physiological, not emotional) doesn't mean you are really a girl, or a walrus, or a lamp.

I was at a party when a guy, and I'm using that term loosely, showed up in leather pants, high heels, and a woman's scarf. He was also wearing makeup, I had to ask my date if it was a man or a woman.
