New to hog hunting...questions

Ok, so I had heard rumors of hawgs in our hunting area in the Upstate of SC but had not seen any sign.
To get an idea of what bucks may have made it through the season I started a corn pile about two weeks ago, in hopes of getting pics of bucks that had made it through the season. Checked card on camera yesterday and had over 90 pics of piggies. One pic showed 14 on the baitpile, so evidently our hunting land has got a severe case of the swine flu.
I'm going to use an AR for Phase One of the eradication but need help choosing bullet types and aiming spots. I have 62 gr M193 ball, 62 gr M855 green tip penetrator, 55 gr full metal jacket and 77 gr match ammo in 5.56. Any suggestions as to which to go with and best shot placement?
FYI ...my ground blind setups are @ 60-75 yds downwind of bait. Pics show 2-3 hogs in the 100-150 lb range, rest are maybe 15-60 lbs. That's a SWAG.
My alternate weapon would be a single shot .300 blackout handi-rifle with both 150 gr and 230 gr fmj rounds.
Any and all info/ help is greatly appreciated

Edit
My thinking is to try and take out the 2-3 big boars/sows and then bait a trap for a couple of weeks afterwards with no hunting in order to trap the smaller pigs where-as I can then finish the eradication with my .45 with extreme prejudice. :)

Your land will never be the same.
Good luck with your killing them

hogs are like some of the STD's, you have them for life
aim for the head, its a big target and usually fatal.

AR-15 is OK but not great IMO.
My favorite way to get them is to bait them and set up on them within 25 yards downwind. Have you and several buddies sit in the ground blind with shotguns with snow goose extensions and either 00 or #4 buckshot or a mixture of the two and let pigs get on bait and unleash hell. AR-15 will work, but pretty much have to hit the ear hole to kill them. Once the first shot goes off they will be running VERY quickly and won't give you a big window of opportunity. This is where the buckshot helps a lot.
Traps are your friend.

Shoot big sows first then boars.
Pigs will be easy to trap.
Dogs are abiut the only way to put a big dent in them.
