Rapes happening in Baton Rouge area

Police say the first incident happened in the Tara/Goodwood area just before 3 a.m. Sunday where a 78-year-old female heard a noise in front of her home and was grabbed by a male who forced her back into her room and assaulted her.The next incident happened in the Glen Oaks area Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. where a 34-year-old victim, who was home alone, was awakened by the sound of her front door being kicked in by an unknown male.

These are all break in and rapes. The women are left alive and obviously the motive is not theft. These are certainly the work of a sicko. The OT needs to be DNA swabbed.

This would be funny if it weren't true. Right after the abduction and assault attempts near the LSU lakes what does BRPD leadership do - inspection sticker checkpoints. Don't suggest they are really smart and are secretly canvassing for the suspect. Crime spikes in BR, inspection roadblocks near LSU. Like clockwork.
