Looking around the SEC..

They lose a coach and one is hired within a week.

We seemed to be dragging our feet.

Hire Mawae and don't look back.

We need someone to finish up this recruiting class.

Oh, and "yes" message.

I thought it was pretty much set that Grimes is the guy. Did something change in the past couple of hours? Some pretty tuned in people have said he's the guy. JC Shurburrt is very tuned in at VT and he said he's the guy

Reports are that an offer has been extended to Grimes. I'm not sure where we are from there, though.

Thanks. Just making sure I didn't miss something because some threads about Grimes have mysteriously disappeared

Can being down one assistant coach allow Les more opportunity to recruit? I thought I remember that from the recent past.

Power stuggle going on. A lot of LSU Power Brokers want Mawae. Grimes has a pretty good resume'/bio, but KM has that great NFL/Pro Bowl background.

and at all the Knockers that think Mawae's impressive NFL Pedigree wouldn't be much use in teaching LSU OL's.
