The doctor who implanted her with 8 eggs should be held fully responsible for the fiscal well being of everyone of these kids, and put in prison if he doesn't.

The woman known as the "Octomom" was charged with welfare fraud after allegedly failing to report nearly $30,000 in earnings.

Nadya Suleman, 38, who gained fame in 2009 when she made medical history by giving birth to octuplets, all of whom survived, was charged Jan. 6, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said in a news release issued Monday.

She is being charged with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid, the release said. The mother of 14 children allegedly failed to report the extra income she earned between Jan. 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013.

With 8 kids at once and 14 overall, I have serious doubts the 30k went very far.

Unbelievable that tax payers have to support all those kids for years for her to have 15 minutes of fame.

Wut? What about personal responsibility? It's not his fault she's a deadbeat.

When the $1300 a month Obamacare bill comes due down the road, lets see how creative America gets about reporting income. In three years we will be an entire nation of under-reporting scofflaws.

It's a sad fact but there is no such thing as personal responsibility in this country, the doctor should be charged with malpractice.

That's the truth. Of course anyone who is not being as creative/diligent/self serving as possible when calculating their taxes now is a foolish patriot.

We should all be looking for every possible means of keeping our money.

My prediction is that the common sense philosophy of "We should all be looking for every possible means of keeping our money" will soon morph into a far more adversarial "We should look for every possible way to get that money back from the government, one way or another".

So it's a good idea to implant 8 embryos into a single woman with 4 kids she can't take care of?

Doctors aren't guided by a moral compass when performing these procedures.

Same could be said for performing surgery on a serial killer - just because he morally objects to what this serial killer did, does that mean he shouldn't save the guys life?
