One of neighbors kid is a senior in high school and he has no friends. he just sits at home all day. He will be entering LSU soon, and I want him to meet some friends there too( He will be commuting). Do you know some organizations that would be good for him to join? I suggested youth group( easy poon). Any other ideas? he is too old for boy scouts.

Why is he commuting? If he wants to make friends the easiest change he could make is staying in freshman dorms

That's what I told him.
He likes sports but he is not athletic. What were good ways to meet girls when you were younger?

Is he a home school kid or did he just move here? Why does he not have any friends at school?

When I was at brmhs, the swim team or Frisbee team was a good way to meet people. Meeting girls can be hard. Its easier to meet people in private schools( St Joe hoes!). Tell him to join service and interest clubs.
