My wife and myself eat there all the time. One of the best burgers on the North shore.

How do you have world famous burgers if you only have a couple locations in Louisiana?

Gold burger was always my order from the Essen location. It was solid. I wasn't raving about it, but it was solid.

I mean, I want it rare anyway, so this is probably less of a problem for me.

I give Times a big "meh". While a local chain...they achieve the same average standard of a large national chain.

It's one of the few places in town where I can ask for a medium-rare burger, and actually get it cooked that way. Service can definitely be spotty, but I love their burgers more often than not. Cajun Sunset with pepper jack and bacon is the way to go.

You waited a whole ten minutes? Did either of you give thought to the notion that maybe the person assigned to your area was busy at the time your asses hit the seats? How long does it take to get an order from any fast food joints you eat at?

I ate a rare burger topped with blue cheese yesterday. It was glorious. You have to have a plan when they set it down in front of you though. Flip it immediately, then try to eat directly to the middle as fast as possible. Cutting it would be a disaster.

Times is ok, but damn the service has been SLOW lately. I completely buy what the OP says as we went there for lunch a couple weeks ago and took a good 30 minutes for two burgers to come out.
