I was invited to a company function this weekend and had the opportunity to take out this big guy. I bought a new upright 24 cu ft freezer for this trip. Hopefully it will be big enough.

What did you drop it with? I passed on a shot at a huge one since I wasn't sure about the .270 (Jack O'Conner notwithstanding). And maybe a little bit because it would have cost me $2800.

Beautiful animal. And I hear really good eating.

We are out in Waelder, TX at the 4D Guest ranch. Everything about this place is 1st class. We had a customer take a buck that scored 226.

I shot my stag with my Tikka 7mm mag. I'm not sure how much he weighs, but he was a bitch to load in the back of a ranger.

I had one show up on my game camera at my house last year. No idea where he came from but I wish I would have been in the stand when he came through

Really nice kill. Bet that's not cheap to mount

I shot this guy 2 years ago at the YO Ranch outside of Kerville, great eating and makes a cool mount.

Wow, that's a nice one. I had to stalk mine for a couple of hours. They were spooked very easily by the Polaris rangers.

How did you have yours processes, I have my cut sheet and not sure how I'm going to do it yet?

Great rack, fine stag, and note the package on that proud buck.

Miller, your stag is a beast. I was told by the guide that the meat was good. I placed my order today with the processor. One thing is for sure, there will be lots of meat.

We had a customer take this whitetail. He scored 226 and was a really big bodied deer.

It was hard sitting in the stand watching him at the feeder that first morning. Fifteen minutes of pure agony.
