, and took responsibility followed by swift action by firing staff members that can not be trusted?

But some how Christie's apology has became a frenzy of, " oh no, he knew, he is lying about all of this"

The media is divisive and if all we're going to do is tear down out leaders and opine on things we know nothing about, then really, watching cable news like HardBall is a waste of time and will only put you in a negative frame of mind.

I can't watch the news any longer..including Fox.. it's just noise to me now...

anyone else done with it?

Obama doesn't make apologies because he hasn't made any mistakes yet....

ETA: I agree.. All cable news channels suck and are only going to get worse

What has Christie apologized for? Ignoring this scandal before his election? No. For making light of it and saying he put the cones out himself? No. For lying and saying his people weren't involved? No. For saying he was responsible? No. For saying he dropped the ball and didn't order an internal investigation? No.

Here is an update on print media coverage.
All are Friday editions:

USA Today ... 1 and a half pages. You could call it 2. Fairly objective and even handed.

Wall Street Journal .. 1 full page worth. Objective.

New York Times .. 9 PAGES ... Could not tell news from opinion pieces. All of it was vile attacks. They don't just want him to resign. They want him in prison.

You really are slow. I've told you a dozen times that I read NYT, WSJ and USA at Starbucks. Not online. I visit about 20 online news sites a day. When I see something interesting I link it.

He might not be, but at least he apologized and fired those responsible. At the worst, he supposedly targeted his political opponents with a traffic jam. It's not like he used the IRS to go after their tax status, or wire tapped the reporters' phones from the press conference the other day.

Those would be an absolute outrage.

Congressman Underwood says Christie didn't think it through. Not impressed.

If he was not clueless, then he's relying on a lot of people whose careers he has just ended to have his back.
Clueless or not, he stood up, took blame, took IMMEDIATE action, and apologized.

What would Obama have done? It would be added to the rest of the "phony" scandals he is sitting on.

Would have blamed the phone scandals on FOXNews.

He had someone fall on their sword...a party apparatchik who will find a home on someone else's staff or in party offices...she wasn't a politician. Does an apology count if you avoid the truth to protect your image?

Is that your standard? Your excuse is "well Obama did it!"?

I know you are a libtard that will never fail to polish a certain knob, but did you watch all of his press conference the other day? If the answer is no then STFU.
