1st guess is TE coach.

Why?

"Ya boy Porter so fake."

I don't think him and Wilson would want to be on the staff together.

ETA: Also, he's utterly useless from a coaching perspective.

So it's a 50% upgrade over Stud, who couldn't coach or recruit. Moving in the right direction

But he'd be replacing Ensminger, who is better at player evals and contributes to gameplans.

porter may have missed on joe, but joe was never coming here to begin with and porter landed an assload of out of state top recruits while here. He was recruiter of the year in 07 or 08 I think.

well, if he's coaching TEs he doesn't have to do much.

yea, I've heard that before. I'm also skeptical of his ties to handlers and such.

What makes you say he's useless from a coaching perspective? Did the running backs blow assignments or use poor technique on a regular basis when he was last on staff? Would you even know what poor technique looked like?

word was our RBs hated him while he was here, if you remember how frustrated the fans were with our RB rotation back then, it's been said porter was the one rotating the guys. However, it's a moot point if Frank is still the RB coach.

Typical Ranters want 100% proof on anything posted here.

..which means this post will get whacked because I can't link it to an actual story... Yet.

Gotcha. I guess I can see that with regards to personality. My thoughts on the unusual rotation were that it was because one back (KW) couldn't read his blocks on inside zone, one back was purely an inside runner (power, zone), and one back was a 3rd down/pass pro type guy. It was definitely a tell when a given back came in though.

It's pretty funny how people on here act like they are on the coaching staff. How many practices y'all been to? Or are you best buds with Les?

Well everyone always said Stud was terrible and needed to be fired.. and wow 2 years later he was. It is pretty easy to spot the obvious.
