Like some said, it's virtually a name-only position.
They work with the OL and WR positions and both of those positions have their own coaches..
..obviously waiting on the new OL coach to be named..

That's really it. People who are expecting an amazing recruiter+coach for TE is setup for disappointment. It's one of the lowest positions on staff. About the best you can hope for is someone who can recruit his arse off. Porter was a good recruiter but he was linked to Lyles from my understanding? I really don't want him back on staff. He was an awful coach but he brings that possible recruiting baggage too.

That wothless $%^#$&*#$% ruined RBs. I hope Miles is smart enough to keep his arse away from campus. When it comes to coaching he could not find his arse in the dark with both hands.

After the nature of his departure and flat out lying to Les, I would be shocked if he is back.
