I'm almost positive Porter won't be on the coaching staff.

Whatever we do I hope we don't piss of Frank Wilson. Just keep him happy.

But he'd be replacing Ensminger, who is better at player evals and contributes to gameplans.

But if we replace Ensminger with someone who can actually recruit and bring in a OL coach that is able to form sentences, dont you think thats an upgrade?

Coach E could still evaluate and contribute to gameplans if he moved to an admin role. He just couldn't actually coach players.

I figure I can use Coach E over just saying Ensminger since that's what we call his brother when he coaches us in HS.

Not for nothing, but I'm pretty sure everyone was more than ok with him when he was constantly bringing in 5* recruits. I don't know about the thought of him being dirty, but that doesn't stop people from talking about Orgeron. I wouldn't want to alienate anyone currently on our staff though.

I'm still wondering what the deal is with this guy.

..from LSU to Tampa Bay for one year to USF where he still resides.

If he was a top notch, well though of, DB coach, shouldn't he be somewhere other than USF?

..meaning he won't be the RB coach.

1st guess is TE coach.

I would say that is the exact same capacity, as it is just a different positions coach, just a slightly different role. Stupid argument, I know.

What about Vernon Hargreaves? Dude coached some pretty fricking good linebackers at Miami for years and he's toiling away at USF too.

Like him being part of the program, hope it's just as TE coach.

Let practically got him the Memphis job because of his recommendations. Where is this leaving on bad terms stuff coming from?

don't think porter was ever really liked by other members of the staff....and if Cam does have a hand in these hires I doubt he gets the nod.

Don't know why we need a TE coach. It's not like we use them. Hell they could just get coached with the OL, becaue that is all they are used for is blocking.
