Into the hall of fame? Obviously hypothetical since it will never happen

But based on the voting history with no one getting 100%, how would someone in the right mind not vote for one of them?

Nope, they would say Peyton is cheating cause he has a fused neck like Frankenstein.

They would disallow Brady cause of the tuck rule and Giselle

Nope, some voters would say they played in an era of passer friendly rules....therefore nobody from that era gets in

I don't think ANY player should ever get 100% of the vote for any HOF

But that's just me I'm sure

How is he much different if the other 2 wouldn't? All 3 are in convo for GOAT.

Baseball guy would say he was a choker before he got to Miami and had to join 2 other all stars

yea it's retarded

Yea, since that's what I was going for

If NFL had the same voting process and mindset would be a better way of stating it I guess

you mean to say if the MLB voters were voting for the NFL HOF, would manning/brady get 100% votes.

no, they're bitches trying to be 'different'

that's like how in some seasons there aren't unanimous MVP votes even though clearly one player dominated the league.

Ruth and Gehrig didn't get 100% vote.

Manning and Brady aren't Ruth and Gehrig.

They're more Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa...not saying Manning and Brady juiced...but the game changed to favor and help and protect QBs like never before.

Montana and Unitas are Ruth and Gehrig.

Sure. A 100% HOF vote for any player says, to me anyway, that HE was the greatest player to ever play whichever sport. No flaws, no failings. When in fact every player fails and has a flaw in their play.

100% vote is a herd mentality. There is a reason these halls have a %, to account for dissenting voices, which should be welcomed.

Nothing in reality is 100% and players getting a post career award aren't either. Brady/Manning are first ballot HOF'ers, doesn't mean that EVERY voter thinks or should think that way. Doesn't make them any less of a great player if one voter says no

Wasn't trying to compare players from different sports, just showing how dumb I think the MLB voters are. Ruth and Gehrig should have gotten 100% IMO along with some others.

You can't be serious. The OP is trying to point out the ridiculousness of HOF voting in baseball by using this football example, and I think he succeeds. Peyton is arguably the best QB ever. And if a voter was told he needed their vote to make it, they would vote for him. Too many guys trying to make a point.
