Will do. Been one of those morning.

Dead bike battery
Locking the truck putting the keys up. Realize I left something in there

Did that about 10 times.
Then fought the ice getting out here.
I'm making an all day sit if I have to. And forgot to grab water. So I have a half a bottle.

Should be interesting

Nah KR. You know when it is a heavy animal as opposed to a squirrel or a dillo

Buddy invited me to his land this evening. Put me in a place they call murderers point. Big Deer are killed here often he says. I am hoping for anything with decent size and four legs.

Good luck today fellas and stay safe.

Thanks Cro. I'm sure the rut is in full swing at my place in Canton. Ain't hunted it since Saturday. How's it looking over your way?

I left after the hunt on Monday morning. I checked all the scrapes I had been watching and none were freshened up yet after the front came through.

Not real sure what to think.... is it over? Is it peak rut and the bucks are bedded down with the does?

I watched a broken rack 8 walk right past a scrape and didn't even stop near it. Either he checked it from down wind or he want interested (too early/late).

ETA: This was the same scrape I watched a doe piss in about 8 days before.
